A System That Deters and Delays Attackers
All components of the Forte Opening Solutions Attack Resistant Door System — metal frame, attack-resistant glass, ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware, solid-core wood door and metal vision kit— work together to provide the highest level of security in new construction or security-update retrofit projects. While Forte Opening Solutions Attack Resistant Doors can be installed in existing frames, the full system is required for the greatest degree of safety.

TIER 1
ASTM Certified
Tested to meet the ASTM F3561 Standard Test Method for Forced-Entry Resistance of Fenestration Systems After Simulated Active Shooter Attack.
Provides verified, industry-standard protection for high-security applications.
Certified for Levels 3 & 5
TIER 2
FTD-SA Tested
Tested using the FTD-SA test methodology, which served as the foundation for ASTM F3561.
Not formally certified due to the absence of an official standard at the time of testing.
Provides a high level of security with proven performance
